The Rep Imaginary Theater Company's My Friend the Dragon performance at Northview School
Hear, ye hear ye! Make way for an epic tale of friendship, bravery, and curiosity! Introducing My Friend the Dragon, a retelling of Kenneth Grahame’s beloved short story, The Reluctant Dragon. This world premiere musical is set to spread its wings for the first time at the Rep’s Imaginary Theatre Company. When a scaly tail is spotted just outside his village, Sam uses his knowledge of fairy tales and compassion for the misunderstood to make a fire-breathing friend unlike any other. The two join forces with the gallant knight St. George to show the village that everyone deserves a friend. My Friend the Dragon is a love letter to book lovers of all ages, reminding us that we all deserve the chance to tell our own story. Supported by the Regional Arts Commission.
