For the past 23 years, the Dan McLaughlin Charity Golf Tournament and Auction has helped the Special Education Foundation raise millions of dollars to support the students, families, and educators we serve in the Special School District of St. Louis County community.
Plans are now underway for the 24th annual tournament on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Norwood Hills Country Club.
Each year, hundreds of golfers and friends of SEF join together to raise funds through the tournament, silent and live auctions, sponsor donations, and our fund-a-need paddle raise. Last year’s event raised $320,000 for SEF programs supporting students and educators.
The tournament's success is due to the generosity of businesses and individuals in the St. Louis region.
Registration for this year’s tournament is now open, and we hope you’ll join us this year for a rewarding day of fellowship and giving back to help kids with disabilities.
There are several sponsorship levels available, each with its own set of benefits and recognition. For example:
Platinum Sponsors receive premier recognition throughout the event, logo placement on event materials, and three foursomes.
Gold Sponsors receive highlighted placement in the program and on the course, along with two reserved foursomes.
Silver Sponsors enjoy event visibility and receive a foursome or two complimentary player spots, depending on the level of support.
And Bronze Sponsors are listed on our website and, at the $1,000 level, one player spot for the event.
All sponsor levels support SEF’s life-changing initiatives and provide marketing exposure to a wide audience.
To sponsor and register for the golf tournament, visit the Tournament’s website. Hundreds of golfers, guests, community and educational leaders, and volunteers attend this annual event, which is SEF’s largest fundraiser.
You can also sign up to volunteer at the tournament. If you’re interested, please visit our volunteer sign-up page.
