As the countdown begins for the 3rd Annual Starfish Awards, the Special Education Foundation (SEF) invites the community to join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating those who make a lasting difference in the lives of students with disabilities. The Starfish Awards will take place on June 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at The Reverie STL and promises an evening filled with celebration, entertainment, music, and inspiration. Guests will enjoy an open bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres while honoring individuals and organizations whose compassion and dedication create brighter futures for students served by the Special School District of St. Louis County.

Among this year’s distinguished honorees is Dr. Dan Cuneo of the Special School District (SSD) Board of Education. His commitment to supporting students with disabilities has made a meaningful impact throughout the SSD community. We are proud to celebrate Dr. Cuneo alongside all of this year’s award recipients for their leadership, advocacy, and service.

New this year, the Starfish Awards will feature an exciting silent auction open to everyone — whether or not they are attending the event. Auction items include vacation packages, sports memorabilia, wine tasting parties, and exclusive dining experiences.
