First Community is hosting Planning for the Future: Protecting Loved Ones with Disabilities, an educational presentation designed for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and other family members who want to better understand how estate planning and special needs planning can work together to protect a loved one's future.
Meet the Presenter: Attorney Christine A. Alsop
The presentation will be led by Attorney Christine A. Alsop, owner of The Elder and Disability Law Firm of Christine A. Alsop, LLC. With more than 15 years of experience serving older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families, Christine focuses on estate planning, special needs planning, elder law, and long-term care.
Licensed in Missouri and Illinois, Christine is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and has held leadership roles with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has also served on numerous boards, including the American Parkinson Disease Association and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
Christine regularly speaks to families, attorneys, social workers, and other professionals on estate planning, disability planning, elder law, and special needs planning. Her practical, compassionate approach helps families understand their options and make informed decisions about the future.
