Karlon Bishop: Social Worker in the Parkway School District
Starfish Leadership Award: Adrienne Eaglin
Adrienne Eaglin is the Director of the Special School District’s Family and Community Engagement department. She manages requests for the Special Education Foundation’s S.A.F.E. Student Aid Fund for Emergencies program (formerly known as Critical Needs). Adrienne’s passion is rooted in her belief that every child deserves a happy, joyful childhood.
Guided by her background in social work and education, she approaches every decision with one clear focus: remembering that a student is behind it. By helping address students’ basic needs and removing barriers to engagement, Adrienne is creating pathways for students to fully participate in school and their communities, making her a powerful emerging leader in the field.
